This tutorial shows you how to synchronize emails, contacts, and appointments of your Namecheap Private Email account on your iPhone. We will use a test email account firstname.lastname@example.org in this guide.
NOTE1: If you've set up a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for your mailbox and wish to use Exchange (ActiveSync) connection, you will need to set up an Application Specific Password.
This guide should be useful.
1. Go to your device's Settings:
2. Select Passwords & Accounts and choose Add Account option:
3. From listed options, select Exhange:
4. Specify the full email address and set a description of the email account and click Next. Then, click Sign in.
On the next step, enter the password for the Private Email address.
5. Now you need to enter your full email address, server name, exchange username then enter your account password:
- Email: your full email address (email@example.com)
- Server: privateemail.com
- Username: local part of the email address (example)
- Password: one from your Namecheap Private Email email account
- Description: any description you like to use for this account
5. System will verify your account's settings:

6. Once the account is created, you will be able to choose additional settings of the exchange account.

Now you can create note in your calendar from web-mail interface at privateemail.com or your synchronized gadget.
