When you contact Namecheap support
, we may need to validate your account before we can discuss account-specific details with you or assist you with your support inquiry.
In order to validate you as the account holder, we may ask you for your account username and Support PIN.
The Support PIN is a unique number that is assigned to your account for 24 hours after you log in.
In order to get your Support PIN, mouse over your Namecheap username at the top of the page and click on the Support PIN link:
After this, you will be redirected to the Profile > Security page to check the current Support PIN:
If you wish to refresh it and get the new one, simply click on the Refresh button:
Your Support PIN will be automatically updated to a random one. After that, you should get the message "Your Support PIN has been changed successfully".
