How can I connect my domain to my Adobe Portfolio?

To connect the domain name registered with Namecheap to your Adobe Portfolio, you will need to modify your domain’s DNS settings.

Your domain should be using one of the following DNS sets: our BasicDNS, BackupDNS (a legacy option), PremiumDNS or FreeDNS. Otherwise, please contact your hosting/DNS provider to make the necessary changes.

If your domain is pointed to one of the aforementioned sets, please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your Namecheap account.

2. Select Domain List from the left navigation sidebar and click on the Manage button that appears in front of your domain name:

3. Click on the Advanced DNS tab and find the Host records section. Now click on the records for @ and www to modify their values (are you unable to edit host records?):

4. Select A record for the Type for @ and www and change them to the IP address from your Adobe Portfolio dashboard:

You can also just click on Add New Record and create two new A records for the domain name instead of modifying the existing records.

5. Save these changes by selecting the Save All Changes button.

Please ensure there are no conflicting records (A, CNAME, URL redirect records with different values but set for the same hosts) for your domain. If there are any, remove them by doing the following:

NOTE: It can take approx. 30 minutes for newly-created host records to take effect.
