Email features we're adding based on your feedback

After rolling out to our new Private Email platform, many of you told us about features you relied on that aren't available yet. We've collected that feedback and turned it into a committed roadmap of improvements.

Features we’re adding, because you asked

The last column is what you can do right now, while each feature is being built.

Bulk actions	Select many emails at once to delete, move, or mark in one step.	Shipped	Select a range with Shift-click, then act on the selection.
Reply and forward indicators	See which emails you've already replied to or forwarded right in the inbox.	In progress	Open the sent folder to confirm which messages you’ve already replied to or forwarded.
Multi-login	Stay signed in to multiple mailboxes at once and switch without logging out.	In progress	Use a separate browser profile or an incognito window per mailbox.
Auto-suggestions for Contacts	As you type in, matching contacts are suggested.	In progress	Open Contacts to copy the address.
Save emails	Export a message for use outside your inbox.	Investigation	Open the message and use your browser’s Print >> Save as PDF.
Sorting	Order your inbox by date, size, starred and unread status.	Investigation	Use email search to narrow the view (search by header, message size, CC, BCC, display name).
Email threads	Group a back-and-forth into one conversation view.	Investigation	Search mails by subject.
Print emails	Print a message outside your inbox.	In progress	Open the message and use your browser’s Print option.
Search across all folders	Search your entire mailbox at once.	Investigation	Open the folder you need and search within it.
Mobile apps	Dedicated iOS and Android apps for a fast, native experience.	In progress	Add your mailbox to your phone’s built-in Mail app via IMAP. See guide.
