Email features we're adding based on your feedback

After rolling out to our new Private Email platform, many of you told us about features you relied on that aren't available yet. We've collected that feedback and turned it into a committed roadmap of improvements.

Features we’re working on

The last column is what you can do right now, while each feature is being built.

AI email translation	Translate any email into your language on demand, then switch back to the original whenever you want.	Planned	Copy the text into a separate translation tool.
AI email summaries	Get a concise summary of a message or thread in seconds, whenever you ask for it.	Planned	Scroll the full thread to piece together what matters.
Event details in invitation emails	See the event description directly in the invitation email, so you have the full context before opening the calendar.	Planned	Open the event in Calendar to view its description.
Distribution lists	Group multiple addresses into one named list and email everyone with a single click.	Investigation	Add each recipient manually in the To field for now.
Migration tool	Bring existing email over automatically instead of setting it up manually.	Investigation	Import old mail via IMAP in a desktop client. See guide.

In progress — the feature is actively being built.

Planned — the feature is confirmed and planned for development.

Investigation — the team is currently discussing the implementation approach.
