All our Dedicated Servers are hosted in our datacenter. This is an ideal environment for housing a multitude of servers as well as power, network, climate, and security systems.
We are proud to operate on a separate Cisco/Brocade-powered network, connected to Level3, Highwinds, HE, Cogent, and Integra. Private peering allows for stable connectivity as well as the ability to quickly troubleshoot in case of any malfunctioning.
Our state-of-the-art Dell and Supermicro rackmount-based servers are designed for continual high performance in a datacenter environment. They feature incredibly powerful Intel processors, hot swap drive bays, enterprise-edition hard drives, and ECC RAM.
We’re pleased to offer you a wide range of management options that will suit all your server needs. Choose from User-Responsible (where you manage everything on your own), Basic (where Namecheap manages nearly everything), or Complete (where Namecheap manages it all). If you require root access, please choose from our User-Responsible or Basic options.
All of our web hosting services are backed by Namecheap’s Hosting Guarantee.
Please be aware that the sales of Dedicated Servers are only refundable within 7 days of first-time purchases (not including add-ons and licenses). All other sales of Dedicated Servers are final and non-refundable.

Why should I choose a Dedicated Server?
Offering optimal security and maximum bandwidth, a Dedicated Server is ideal for those who are a bit more tech-savvy (managing and configuring servers, for example) and for businesses that are resource-intensive, handling a considerable amount of daily traffic.
What types of server management does Namecheap provide?
Depending on your server needs, Namecheap offers 3 types of Server Management: User-Responsible, Basic, and Complete. As the name suggests, User-Responsible requires that the user takes full responsibility for the managing of that particular server. Basic is a type of management that is only offered to those who have operating systems CloudLinux or CentOS and a cPanel already installed. Here, core services under Basic are monitored by Namecheap with a proactive response if unexpected server failure occurs. Complete is a type of management, very similar to Basic in terms of its operating systems and cPanel, where Namecheap runs and manages the A-Z of server services, software, and its components.
What is RAID Technology?
Known as a “Redundant Array of Independent Disks,” this method combines several hard disk drives into one cohesive unit, in return combating data redundancy and improving performance. Featuring fault tolerance (basically what enables a system to continue operating even if it fails) and a higher capacity/volume, here data gets distributed in something called “RAID levels,” which depends on the specific level of redundancy and performance required.
