How do I attach a card to my account?

To link any type of Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card to your Namecheap account, please log in first.

Once you have done this, please follow the steps listed below:

1. Choose Profile > Billing from the left navigation menu. In the Payment Cards section click on the Manage button:

2. Select Add New Card:

3. Now properly fill out all the required details (only the Address Line 2 field is optional) and click on Save Changes:

If everything is correct, you will receive confirmation via a message shown below that the card was successfully added:

NOTE: Charges for the Service(s) will be billed to your chosen Payment Method as charges for "NAME-CHEAP.COM." as mentioned in the Namecheap Universal Terms of Service Agreement. The statement descriptor may also include a unique identifier of the transaction. Namecheap is not responsible for any changes in statement descriptors made by your credit card issuer.

If for some reason you need to remove the card, please go to the Profile > Billing > Payment Cards > Manage page and follow these steps listed below:

1. Locate the card you’d like to delete from your account, click the arrow to Edit the corresponding card, and select Remove:

2. Now confirm the card removal:
