What is Namecheap Easy Payment?

Namecheap provides an opportunity to purchase premium .CLUB and .SHOP domains priced above $5,000 for over 60-months with Namecheap Easy Payment plans.

In order to purchase these domains, you only need to pay an initial downpayment of 20%. The remaining balance of 80% is paid in 60 monthly installments, with the first payment starting right after your down payment is made.
This means a great $5,000 name like GARDEN.CLUB is available for only $600 down and $40 per month.

Namecheap Easy Payment domains will show a ‘Finance’ button in the search results. To purchase a domain, just follow the instructions inside the ‘Finance’ window.




Can I use my domain while I am making monthly payments?

Yes. After you have made your initial down payment, you will have access to change the DNS information that controls where your domain name points to.

We'll place the domain in our holding account to keep it safe until it is paid off. We’ll also share domain access with you, so you can easily point it to your dedicated hosting, redirect it to an existing website or web page, set up email, and point your domain to a social media page. You can control the DNS of the domain as long as your monthly payments are current.


What happens if I stop making my monthly payments, or if I want to cancel?

The Easy Payment plan is just like a magazine subscription. You can cancel anytime with no penalty and no further obligation to pay. If you cancel or stop making your payments at any time, you will no longer have access to control the domain's DNS. We will disable your access to the name and offer it for sale again.


If I cancel my Easy Payment subscription, do I get any money back?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any prorated refund if you decide to cancel early. While you don't have any obligation to pay the balance of the full price of the domain, there are no refunds if the subscription is cancelled. Your down payment and any monthly payments you have made cover the costs of your use and/or control of the name up until the time you cancel. It is just like you have leased or rented the name exclusively for the period of time you were making payments.


What if I want to sell my name to someone else?

Sure, you can definitely do that. If you want to sell your name, you only owe us the balance due on your initial purchase price. Anything you receive from your buyer over and above that is yours to keep. You'll have to pay us the balance owed on the name in full before you are able to transfer the name to your buyer.

Can I move my domain to my own account at Namecheap or elsewhere?

Once your payment is received, our support team will work with you to have it put into your Namecheap account and get you access to its DNS settings.

While you are making payments on your name with our Easy Payment plan, you cannot transfer the name out of your Namecheap account until the name is paid in full. The good news is that you can pay your outstanding balance at any time, with no prepayment penalty.

What about renewal fees?

All of the premium names offered through Namecheap’s Easy Payment program have standard renewal fees. For Easy Payment plan names, annual renewals are included in the price for the duration of your Easy Payment plan payments. Once your name is paid in full you are responsible for the annual renewal fees as charged by Namecheap.

How do I manage my domains purchased using Easy Pay?

Once your payment has been successfully processed, Namecheap Easy Payment will email you with further details on the process. We’ll work with you to add the domain to your account and grant you access to manage your Easy Payment domain’s DNS so that you can redirect it, build a website, or configure emails.
