Food logos should be eye-catching and unique. They should make customers crave your food through the use of effective colors, fonts, and imagery. Make sure the design elements also match your brand image or corporate identity, whether it’s playful and fun, serious and upscale or something else entirely.
While you can include an icon of the type of food you serve, it’s not a requirement. Wendy’s, KFC, and McDonald’s are all great examples of fast food logos which don’t directly reference their most popular fare. However, including a food image may be helpful if you’re just starting out and need to build brand awareness.
