Business Development Manager

An ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager seeking new experiences and knowledge! You will be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy and pass your learnings on to your peers. The mission of business development is to identify markets, services and technologies that further the company's strategic objectives, and then evaluate structure, negotiate and close relevant partnerships and launch new internal project initiatives. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with client. Your bright ideas and leadership will be pivotal!

  • You will play an important role in the company's development of strategic partnerships and new project initiatives

  • You will be involved in:

    • Identifying prospective target and market opportunities
    • Performing strategic and quantitative analysis
    • Determining appropriate valuation and structure
    • Developing strategy for and conducting negotiations
    • Driving activities to closure
    • Coordinating with other business units
  • On a typical transaction, you will be responsible for all aspects of the transaction and will carry out tasks by managing a cross- functional team involving persons from other business units including: finance, legal, organization and talent, business intelligence, product management and product development teams

  • You will also be responsible for business development activities including:

    • Defining new strategic opportunities
    • Developing partnerships with companies that will increase Namecheap’s product reach or create additional revenue opportunities

This job might be for you if...

  • You have strong written and oral presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with top corporate executives

  • A demonstrated track record of achievement is a must

  • Strong skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, project management, negotiation, communication and leadership are essential

  • Must also have demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage teams and supervise outside professionals

  • Firm grasp of with Internet/e-commerce companies is a must

  • An understanding of Domain registration and hosting services is desired
