Frequently Asked Questions

To process Private Email Starter or Ultimate plans, you must apply EMAILSIZZLE. For all other offers, simply add the items you’d like to purchase to your shopping cart and check out as normal. Discounts will be applied automatically.
There are no purchase limits on Professional Email, PremiumDNS, SSL Certificates, Domain Vault, or Shared Hosting plans. The limits on all other products can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
Domain Privacy will be added to the shopping cart automatically with each eligible domain registration or renewal, and it will be enabled by default. You will not need to do anything extra in order to get Domain Privacy for your website.

Terms and conditions
General
  • Offers valid from 12:00 AM ET on July 23 through 11:59 PM ET on July 29, 2024.
  • If other promotions are active for any products included in our Summer Sale, the highest discount rate (only) applies.
  • Namecheap reserves the right to amend the products, discounts, or duration of this sale at any time and without prior warning.
Domains
  • .online domains are limited to 1 per business/household at the discount prices shown. All subsequent first-year registrations will be at $3.88 .
  • ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) charges a mandatory yearly fee of $0.18 for each domain registration, renewal, or transfer. This will be added to the list price for some domains at the time of purchase. See full list of affected domains.
  • Discounts cannot be used to register premium domains.
  • You'll receive Domain Privacy absolutely free with every eligible domain registration, renewal, or transfer. The expiration is based on the purchase date rather than the activation date.
  • You can add 2 months of Professional Email for free with every domain purchase. Trials are limited to 5 per business/household on Starter plans, and 1 per business/household on Pro and Ultimate plans.
  • Domain Privacy is available for almost all domains Namecheap offers. Due to registry restrictions, Domain Privacy cannot be used with .ca, .ch, .cn, .co.uk, .com.au, .com.es, .com.sg, .de, .es, .eu, .fr, .gg, .id, .in, .is, .li, .me.uk, .net.au, .nom.es, .nu, .nyc, .org.es, .org.au, .org.uk, .paris, .sg, .to, .uk, .us, .vote, .voto, .xn--3ds443g domains.

  • Namecheap will provide a free domain name (first year only) with the purchase of any annual or biennial Shared Hosting plan as long as the domain name is not considered 'premium'. Learn more about Premium Domain Names.
  • Please note only one domain name is allowed per hosting plan. Our Domain/Hosting bundle offers cannot be used in conjunction with other coupon code promos.
  • Our 30-day refund period applies to first-time customers only. It does not apply if you already have an existing Shared hosting package registered, if you’ve canceled a plan previously, or have a plan already in another Namecheap account.
  • EU datacenter location plans all feature Cloud storage allowing you to reach optimal uptime.
  • Hosting promotional prices apply to new purchases of annual plans only, and are not valid for renewals.
  • Hosting migration is guaranteed for cPanel-based hosting accounts and sites created using WordPress. Any manual website migrations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Our usual 24-hour hosting migration guarantee does not apply during the Summer Sale promotion (July 23 —29). Migration may take more time in this period due to increased interest.
EasyWP
  • EasyWP is limited to one plan type per business/household for trials.
  • EasyWP promotional price applies to the first billing cycle only with renewals available at the regular prices.
SSL Certificates
  • SSL certificates must be installed on your web server. Therefore, end-to-end SSL installation support is possible only in cases where the domain name is hosted with Namecheap. If the domain is hosted with any other provider, please contact their support team for assistance with CSR generation and SSL installation.
  • Certain orders may be flagged for an additional "Brand Validation" procedure by the Certificate Authority. This is a necessary security measure. If the order is flagged for Brand Validation, SSL issuance will be delayed for a period of time deemed necessary by the Certificate Authority.
  • To give you the best price, and comply with security standards, 2, 3, 4, and 5-year SSL should be reissued annually for free to avoid service interruption.
  • When you purchase SSL Certificates, you are also subject to the terms and conditions established by the SSL provider, including but not limited to their privacy policy and data handling practices. Professional Email
  • All discounts are for the first year price only. Renewals will be at our regular prices.
  • Promotional pricing applies only to the number of mailboxes included in your plan and does not include additional mailboxes.
  • Promo code must be applied to get the discounted price on Starter and Ultimate plans.
  • All Professional Email plans are subject to the following conditions.
FastVPN
  • 30-day money-back guarantee on the yearly plan.
  • Limit of one product purchase per Namecheap Account.
  • FastVPN service is unavailable in these countries.
PremiumDNS
  • If you switch from another third-party DNS provider to PremiumDNS, the existing DNS records with that third-party DNS provider will not automatically transfer over to PremiumDNS, which may result in downtime for your domain name. You will need to manually add any existing DNS records to PremiumDNS after switching from a third-party DNS provider to PremiumDNS.
  • PremiumDNS will not be offered during domain name transfers.
  • Namecheap reserves the right to deny PremiumDNS service to any user without explanation.
  • DNSSEC is only available for TLDs that support DNSSEC.
SiteLock
  • One offer per business/household.
Domain Vault
  • Domain vault plans are each designed for one domain.
  • Currently, only the following TLDs are compatible with our Titanium plan: .com, .net, .cc, .name, .bar, .college, .fm, .protection, .rent, .rest, .security, .storage, .theatre, .xyz, .tickets, .car, .auto, .autos, .bond, .icu, .cfd, and .cyou.
