Senior PHP Developer

Location: Kharkiv, Ukraine


We are looking for a part of a scrum development team which includes developers, QAs, UX/UI designer, front-end developer, marketing team, PM & product owner. The team implements high quality solutions for user stories supplied by an in house product owner. The team is collectively responsible for the quality of the deliverables.

  • Brainstorming, completing project tasks

  • Creating requirements documentation, monitoring & reacting to project progress as a team member

  • Adhering to the change control process & improving it as needed

  • Create & edit web applications using primarily PHP, MySQL, ZF2, Silex

  • Drive innovation in our development as a part of the team by setting up standards, advocating the latest industry trends & building the next-generation web applications.


  • Excellent knowledge PHP5+/7, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Experience with one of these frameworks ZF2/Symfony 2/Laravel etc. (ZF2 or Symfony2/3 will be a big plus)

  • Familiarity with one of these frameworks AngularJS (preferable) React/ Ember /Backbone etc.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux & ability to setup Nginx+PHP-FPM+MySQL from scratch (not for PR but for dev purposes) (Docker will be a big plus)

  • Familiarity with NodeJS/io.js will be a big plus

  • Knowledge of software design patterns (OOP, OOD) & understanding pros&cons of each way

  • Written English (read & write)

  • Agile/Scrum

  • Experience of team management

  • Ability & desire to carefully review tons of code & develop other team members
