Dear Customers,
We regret to inform you that our upstream provider Sectigo CA is currently experiencing issues with ”add CNAME” validation method. Certificates using this validation method may be issued with delays.
Unfortunately, there is no ETA at the moment.
Sectigo CA Technical Support Team is currently investigating the root cause of the issue. We are checking the progress with them regularly and will update this status post as soon as we have any updates.
For now, we recommend switching to the email-based or HTTP-based validation methods to have the certificate validated and issued faster. You may check more details about it here: https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/9637/68/how-can-i-complete-domain-control-validation-dcv-for-my-ssl-certificate/
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Kind regards,
Namecheap Support Team
