This is to inform you of the upcoming scheduled maintenance for the Private Email service.
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on our Private Email infrastructure on Tuesday, September 29.
The maintenance is expected to take up to 30 minutes.
Time: 7:00 AM UTC – 7:30 AM UTC | 3:00 – 3:30 AM EDT
Duration: up to 30 minutes.
Downtime: up to 5 minutes.
Affected areas: During the downtime window, the following flows may return errors and will need a retry in 1-2 minutes to succeed:
Mail clients (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, iOS/Android mail apps, etc) & app passwords:
-New authentication attempts with app passwords;
-Send email operation, calendar events management (create, edit, delete);
-App passwords management in Private Email Security Center;
Private Email webmail:
-Signup, login, half-login, change password;
Note: no impact for users mid-session on webmail with a fresh access token.
Private Email subscription management:
-Create/delete mailboxes.
