This is to inform you of the upcoming scheduled maintenance for the Private Email service.
The update will take place on July 13th, 2026, at 2:00 AM EDT | 06:00 UTC. This maintenance is required to implement software updates that help ensure the infrastructure remains secure, stable, and performs optimally.
Duration: up to 1 hour
Downtime: ~30 minutes.
Services impacted: During the whole maintenance window, the following services will not be available for Private Email users with Launch, Expand, ans Scale plans, i.e. customers who created a Private Email subscription on or after June 2, 2026):
- Users will not be able to access their emails over IMAP or POP3 (including Webmail).
- Incoming emails will be gathered in a queue and delivered once the service becomes available after the maintenance.
- Outgoing emails will be sent, but copies of sent emails won’t be placed in the Sent folder due to IMAP/POP3 unavailability.
Users subscribed to the new plans mentioned above may encounter Webmail error messages such as “Error occurred. Email has not been loaded”, “Error occurred while loading emails“, “Something went wrong. Try to reload the page” or similar.
