How to order additional IP addresses for a dedicated server
Our dedicated servers have 2 IP addresses by default, except for Xeon E3-1220 8 SATA and Xeon E3-1220 8 SSD, which have only 1 IP. You can request up to 16 additional IP addresses at an additional fee of $2/month per IP. To request additional 2 IP addresses to have 4 in total, submit a ticket to our Billing Department with your request.
NOTE: It is possible to order only 1 additional dedicated IP with Xeon E3-1220 8 SATA and Xeon E3-1220 8 SSD servers, and an IP justification form is required.
With other dedicated servers, you can still order up to 16 IPs (in total, counting the dedicated IPs assigned by default).
If you require more than 2 additional IPs (up to 14 IPs if counting the IPs assigned by default, 16 IPs), you will need to do the following:
1. Fill out the IP justification form to show us the purpose you require additional IPs for. This type of document is required by ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) to make sure that the IP addresses are not misused by Internet users.
2. Submit a ticket to our Billing Department with your request and the IP justification form attached.
NOTE: It is very important to provide valid information in the justification form. The requested amount of IP addresses will be assigned to your server only if the justification is approved.
Once your request is received and the IP justification form is approved, the prorated invoice for the IPs will be issued to you (the billing cycle for your dedicated IP will be automatically adjusted to match the current billing period of your hosting plan). After the invoice is paid, the necessary number of IP addresses will be assigned to your dedicated server.
