How is the winner chosen?

If no one tweets the message with the required elements after 7 hours, the LAST person who tweeted wins!

To sweeten the deal, we are giving away $500 per week for eight weeks. Winner will be chosen at random from the qualifying tweets during that week. So, if your chances at $5000 might feel far away, you still have a chance to win a substantial cash prize from Namecheap! (Completed)

WARNING: If you tweet more often than once every six hours, you will be disqualified from the competition and the random prize draw. Tweeting more frequently does not increase your chances to win in this competition.

Some pointers

Twitter accounts must NOT be protected so that we can see your tweet.
Please follow @namecheap while participating
Qualifying Twitter accounts must have been created before November 2nd, 2010 OR Twitter accounts that are associated with a Namecheap account with at least one purchase
You can only tweet once every 6 hours. If you do so more than once per day, please vary your tweet as per Twitter's own guidelines. The tweet should still contain all required elements for your entry to be valid, but we give you some room for creativity too.

To link your Namecheap account to your Twitter account, complete the following steps:

Log into your Namecheap account (if you don't have one, you can create one for free at https://www.namecheap.com/myaccount/signup.aspx - there is no credit card necessary)
After you login, go to "My Account" > "Manage Profile" and choose the 'Twitter Integration' link on the left ( https://manage.namecheap.com/myaccount/modify-profile-twitter.asp ). You'll then be prompted to link the accounts and should be ready to go.
