On-Page SEO Analyst/Specialist

Flexible location: US, Canada, UK, or Europe

On-Page SEO

Execute on-page re-optimization projects, to improve organic search traffic and revenue
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Keyword-content mapping / re-mapping decision.

  • Content restructuring / copy revision / content redesign recommendations.

  • Re-optimization of page title, URL, META tags, heading, and alt text tags, etc.

  • Internal cross-link optimization and anchor text optimization.

Analytics & Competitive Intelligence

  • Use SEO industry tools and web analytics to track SEO team's projects and report performance.

  • Conduct weekly SEO performance analysis to report trends and identify emerging issues.

  • Monitor and report competitors' strategic and tactical SEO initiatives on a monthly basis.

SEO Project Management

  • Provide project management support to cross-departmental SEO initiatives, such as:

    • High impact site audit recommendations.

    • Site architecture optimization.

    • Page template optimization.

    • Global meta tag rules.

    • New template design.

    • Internal linking structure.

    • Site migration.

Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years of solid on-page SEO experience. Experience in SEO performance analysis and project management a major plus.

  • Proficiency in SEO industry tools, such as Screaming Frog Spider, Xenu, Moz Pro, Open Site Explorer, Majestic SEO, Google AdWords Keyword Planner, and SEMRush, etc.

  • Proficiency in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint and working knowledge of Google Analytics.

  • Solid logic reasoning and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationship. Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent English speaker who can clearly articulate thoughts and concepts in virtual meetings.

  • Good time management skills – ability to meet deadlines.

  • Career-minded, hardworking and detail oriented. A self-starter.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and other related fields.
