Join us as our Head of Copywriter, you will lead a remote copywriting team to develop, hone, and execute our tone of voice through storytelling that inspires and moves the Namecheap brand forward. Adjusting this tonality to effectively speak to tech-savvy customers and web novices alike, you will ultimately be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into engaging copy across all Namecheap channels.

Scope: Global – You will also write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for the Namecheap website, promotional materials, blogs, press releases, emails, and other copy-related channels while working alongside the respective UX designers, marketing team, product vision owners, copywriters, and Creative Lab members.

Your Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm, develop, and produce effective copy-driven projects

  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as required

  • Write press releases for new products

  • Work with the Creative Lab team and product vision owners to determine customers’ needs and user-centric content marketing initiatives (Display, Affiliate, Social, and PR)

  • Work with graphic designers to develop ideas as well as the UX and production department to fully develop campaigns

  • Produce clean and creative work under tight deadlines

  • Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the Creative Lab team

  • Work with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers, and production companies (as required) to complete projects

  • Research the technical properties of our products

  • Analyze web copy and our competitors’ activities to hone our content marketing strategy and tactics

  • Create content for our existing and future target audiences, growing our brand footprint

You Must Have:

  • Native English speaker (preferably American)

  • Minimum 10 years of web copywriting experience

  • Skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically-correct copy

  • Ability to write engaging and persuasive copy in English

  • A natural team leader, with proven experience of leading a team’s day-to-day work

  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Thoroughly knowledgeable about SEO, digital conversion, and social media best practices
