Curriculum Designer – Namecheap University

Namecheap University’s Curriculum Designer will translate Namecheap’s business priorities into engaging learning pathways for colleagues across the global business. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience who is willing to think big, think creatively, and think forwardly about how to build a company known for valuing its customers and developing entrepreneurs. This role is strategic but applied, responsible for forecasting what our business will need to do in the future and turning that into exciting curricula. Location: Flexible

The location for this role is flexible; your office is where you make it. You will collaborate with colleagues from all parts of the company to develop and deliver high engagement communications. And here's the awesome part: your colleagues will be in countries across Europe, multiple cities in the Ukraine, India, Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify gaps and recommend appropriate modalities;

  • Translate strategic learning approaches into top-quality learning content;

  • Develop ideas and recommendations for engaging learning content (videos, quizzes and activities) by collaborating with business leaders, Global Learning Leader and other stakeholders;

  • Translate business trends & learning needs into detailed competency-based learning curriculum;

  • Participate in competency framework development and enhancement;

  • Break down complex competency areas, defining learning objectives and building blocks for mastery using both online and on-the-job approaches.

  • Build easily understood connections between learning paths, competencies and roles / positions;

  • Perform learning needs and skills analyses using new instruments and existing data; evaluate program results to continuously improve effectiveness through curriculum design;

  • Develop a processes that ensure strong collaboration, clear and timely communication and achieves high standards for quality.

  • Design and configure evaluation forms for gathering learner feedback for educational courses and programs deployed via NCU or local office trainings (Ukraine, India, Portugal);

  • Curate content for learning spaces on Namecheap’s enterprise learning platform in which practice/interest areas can be co-created and explored by Namecheap colleagues;

  • Bring concepts such as social and mobile learning to life in curriculum and programs;

Preferred experience

  • 5+ years’ experience developing curriculum and learning programs for business.

  • Demonstrated experience in applied or on-the-job learning methodologies.

  • Successful design and implementation of instruments for front- and back-end learner/learning assessments.

Will be closely working with

  • Namecheap University’s Development team, the Head of Development, HR Business Partners, and senior leaders from across the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in field related to curriculum design, learning & development or education.
