Namecheap Will Match Nominet’s 1 GBP Donation To ‘BBC Children In Need’ For Each New .UK Registration

Fundraising partnership to help children and young people facing a range of disadvantages kicks off

Phoenix, AZ – Oct. 18, 2018 - Namecheap, the world’s second largest retail domain registrar with over 10 million domains under management, and one of the fastest-growing American companies according to the 2018 Inc. 5000, today announced plans to join Nominet in donating £1 to ‘BBC Children in Need’ for all new .UK registrations, starting this week and ending November 30th.

The fundraising partnership with Nominet doubles the total combined donation to BBC Children in Need to £2 for all new .UK domain registrations with Namecheap from now till November 19th. Additionally Namecheap will continue its £1 donation for all new .UK registrations through November 30th at midnight GMT.

BBC Children in Need supports more than 2,700 projects in communities across the UK that help children and young people facing a range of disadvantages such as living in poverty, living with disability or illness, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma.
