The summer is a great time to get out and travel, so NameCheap is going to help you figure out where you want to go! Play our Travel Twitter Trivia Contest and figure out all sorts of facts about places around the world.

We will be giving away three domain names every hour on the hour for two weeks on Twitter. The top two players and one person at random will win $1000 each towards the vacation of their choice. Three players will win Canon PowerShot D10s.  Waterproof, freezeproof and shockproof, they are perfect for your next voyage.

So what exactly is Twitter?

Twitter is a service for people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? This can sound pretty mundane, but you can learn more about how it can be useful by watching this video called, "Twitter in Plain English" or read a post by Zappos.com here.

How to Participate?

Participation is very simple.

Signup on twitter (https://twitter.com/signup) and follow us by clicking “follow” here. We will be posting a trivia question every hour on the hour starting from June 3rd 11 am EST - June 18th 10 am EST. Three people who reply to the tweet with the correct answer will get a $9.69 credit to their NameCheap account.  It’s that easy :)

Here's an example:
1) NameCheap will send out a message in twitter that says, "In what U.S. city can you rock out to the blues on Sixth Street?"
2) You can then send a message back that says "@namecheap Austin".

The @ symbol puts it to our attention.  If you are the first to answer correctly, we will send $9.69 for a new domain or renewal directly into your NameCheap account. Two others chosen at random will win domains as well, so there's no reason to stop playing.
Every hour on the hour, you can play to win domains or even a vacation.

How do I win and redeem my domains?

The first person to reply to the tweet with the correct answer will receive $9.69 credit to their NameCheap account. Two other domain winners will be picked at random, so don't give up if you aren't the first.  We will announce the winners and answers on Twitter. To claim the credit, you should link your NameCheap account to your twitter account.

Here's how:

• Login to your NameCheap Account (if you don't have a NameCheap account, you can simply create one at https://www.namecheap.com/signup.aspx -- no credit card necessary)
• After you login, go to 'My Account' > 'Manage Profile'  and then choose 'Twitter Integeration' link on the left (https://www.namecheap.com/myaccount/modify-profile-twitter.asp)
• Enter your twitter username and click 'Verify'
• A short code will be sent from NameCheap to your twitter account using a direct message (a message that no one else other than you could see). Note: Unless you follow us we will not be able to send you that code. (There is another option available for validation that will be shown on the integration page as well.)
• Enter the code on the confirmation page and you are all set with linking the accounts.
• Once linked, you will see a credit on your NameCheap account within few hours after your winning. You will be able to register domains, purchase WhoisGuard, or save up to hosting or SSL registrations.
  

Rules

• To encourage more participants to play, each contestant can win only one domain per day. Remember though -- The more you play, the increased chance you get to win a vacation.
• Anyone caught using bots to game the contest will be automatically disqualified from this and all subsequent contests, and will relinquish their earnings.  To report a suspected bot, please email contest@namecheap.com.
