How to transfer a domain from directNIC
Before submitting a transfer request with us please obtain EPP code (if applicable) from directNIC and make sure that the domain is unlocked.
How to unlock your domain with directNIC:
- Login to your directNIC account
- Go to Customer Settings
- Select Set Transfer Security
- Select the domain name and change its setting to Normal Security
How to obtain EPP code from directNIC:
- Login to your directNIC account
- Go to Domain Manager
- Click on the domain name you would like to get EPP for
- Authinfo Code will be displayed under Details for the domain name
Once the domain name is unlocked and you have your EPP code you can initiate a transfer to NameCheap. Please refer to this article for more information on how to transfer a domain to us.
