How to transfer a domain from Register.com


Before submitting a transfer request with us please obtain EPP code (if applicable) from Register.com and make sure that the domain is unlocked.

How to unlock your domain with Register.com:

  • Login to your Register.com account
  • Click on the lock icon next to the domain name you would like to unlock
  • Click Continue
  • When the link says Off the domain is unlocked

To obtain EPP code you would need to contact Register.com Support.

Once the domain name is unlocked and you have your EPP code you can initiate a transfer to NameCheap. Please refer to this article for more information on how to transfer a domain to us.
