How to transfer a domain from Dotster
Before submitting a transfer request with us please obtain EPP code (if applicable) from Dotster and make sure that the domain is unlocked.
How to unlock your domain with Dotster:
- Login to your Dotster account
- Click on Manage Domains
- From Step 1: Select a Domain Management Task select Unlock these domains - to allow transfers
- From Step 2: Choose One or More Domains By Checking The Boxes select the domain(s) you would like to unlock
- Click Manage Domains
How to obtain EPP code from Dotster:
- Login to your Dotster account
- Click on Manage Domains
- From Step 1: Select a Domain Management Task select Retrieve Authorization Code
- From Step 2: Choose One or More Domains By Checking The Boxes select the domain(s) you need EPP code for
- Click on Manage Domains
Once the domain name is unlocked and you have your EPP code you can initiate a transfer to NameCheap. Please refer to this article for more information on how to transfer a domain to us.
