How to transfer a domain from Melbourne IT

Before submitting a transfer request with us please obtain EPP code (if applicable) from Melbourne IT and make sure that the domain is unlocked.

How to unlock your domain with Melbourne IT:

• Login to your Melbourne IT account
  
• Click View/Manage Domain Names in Domain Names section
• Click on the domain name you would like to unlock
• In the Domain Details section click Unlock

How to obtain EPP code from Melbourne IT:

• Login to your Melbourne IT account
  
• Click View/Manage Domain Names in Domain Names section
• Click on the domain you need EPP code for
• In the Domain Details section click Retrieve Domain Name (authinfo) Password

In most cases you would also need to disable privacy protection service for the domain. To disable private registration please contact Melbourne IT Customer Service.
