How to transfer a domain from 1&1 (1and1.com)
Before submitting a transfer request with us please obtain EPP code (if applicable) from 1&1 and make sure that the domain is unlocked.
How to unlock your domain with 1&1:
- Login to your 1&1 account
- Choose the necessary package and go to its Administration page
- Select Domains in the Basic Settings section
- Select the domain name(s) you would like to unlock
- Choose Lock/Unlock in the Transfers menu
- Choose Unlock and click OK
How to obtain EPP code from 1&1:
- Login to your 1&1 account
- Choose the necessary package and go to its Administration page
- Select Domains in the Basic Settings section
- Select the domain name you would like to get EPP code for
- Click Info
In most cases you would also need to disable privacy protection service for the domain.
How to disable private registration with 1&1:
- Login to your 1&1 account
- Choose the necessary package and go to its Administration page
- Select Domains in the Basic Settings section
- Select the domain name you need to disable privacy protection for
- Choose Private/Public Registration in the Contact menu
- Select Public and click OK
